This is the main workshop that we run regularly throughout the year.

This workshop is perfect for the following people :

• Anyone who has never used a photography studio before.

• Anyone who has never worked with a model in a photography studio before.

• This is also brilliant as refresher workshop for anyone who hasnt done studio photography for a while, or someone who is keen to learn more studio tecniques and work with a great model.

Time slots for this workshop only ever have 2 people in them.

This means it is a very personalised experience with lots of time to ask questions, and lots hands on practical photography time  (always the best way to learn)

This workshop is designed for beginners to the studio.

It is also designed to be very hands on, so as well as learning about the studio lights, working in studio, working with a model etc.. you will also come away with some exciting images for you portfolio.

The key areas that this workshop will cover are:

• Camera settings, white balance, setting up the triggers.

• We will look at 2 main lighting setups, and how making slight varations to these setups can make big changes to the look of your images. You will get to take away a printout of the lighting setups as well.

• Composition - Framing your image, using props etc.

• Working with a model.  The importance of working together with a model, good communication and helping each other to get the best possible images you can.​
